As September arrives and we witness the beautiful transition into fall, I'm reminded of how God uses seasons to teach us about His faithfulness and the cycles of growth in our spiritual lives. Just as children are returning to school with fresh notebooks and eager hearts, this season calls us to approach God's Word with renewed hunger and childlike wonder.
A Season of New Beginnings
There's something sacred about September, isn't there? The crisp morning air whispers of fresh starts, and the changing leaves remind us that God makes all things beautiful in their time. As families across the world settle into new routines and students open their textbooks, I'm struck by how many people around the globe don't have access to the greatest textbook ever written – God's Word.
Exciting News: Bible Without Pages Mission
Speaking of new beginnings, I'm thrilled to announce that Bible Without Pages is now a mission division of In the Field Media! Just as autumn brings a harvest after months of patient growth, this mission branch represents the fruit of much prayer and preparation. Together, we'll strengthen our mission of distributing physical audio bibles to those who hunger for God's Word but cannot access it through traditional means.

September Podcast Reflections
This month on the In the Field Audio Bible podcast, we've been exploring themes of spiritual preparation and God's faithfulness through changing seasons. Just as students sharpen their pencils for a new academic year, we're called to sharpen our spiritual focus and prepare our hearts for what God wants to teach us.

As the Northern Hemisphere enters its season of harvest, God has opened before us a remarkable spiritual harvest in Kenya. Near Bungoma, 200 pastors and evangelists—unable to read or write—are waiting to receive audio Bibles that will serve as their lifeline to God’s Word. By December 2025, they will complete their theology training and ordination, then return to their villages equipped to plant churches and shepherd their tribal communities and beyond.
Imagine the parallel: while children here are learning their ABCs, these faithful servants of God will be learning directly from the voice of Scripture. These audio bibles won't just sit on shelves like unused textbooks – they'll be carried into remote villages, played under starlit skies, and shared with communities who have never heard God's Word in their own language.
The need is $7,732 to make this spiritual harvest possible.
Just as a farmer invests in good seed expecting a multiplied harvest, your investment in these audio bibles will yield spiritual fruit for generations. Each audio bible costs approximately $39 to provide, including all distribution expenses, but the eternal impact is immeasurable.
